Preveza lies at the southwestern tip of Epirus, with the Ionian Sea stretching along its western coastline. The region’s capital is the town of Preveza, and it is administratively divided into the municipalities of Preveza, Ziros, and Parga.
The Municipality of Parga, with its administrative center in Kanallaki and historic seat in Parga, is a destination that beautifully combines outstanding natural scenery, rich history, and modern tourist facilities. The area is renowned for its impressive beaches and a wide range of archaeological, historical, and religious landmarks.
Getting here is easy. The region is served by Aktion Airport with domestic and international flights, while regular intercity bus routes connect it with Athens, Thessaloniki, Patra, Thessaly, and neighboring regions. It is also easily accessible by car via the Aktion Undersea Tunnel from mainland Greece and via the Egnatia Odos from northern Greece.
Vrachos–Loutsa Beach enjoys a truly privileged location, just 30 km from the town of Preveza, 30 km from Parga, and 55 km from the port of Igoumenitsa—making it an ideal base for exploring the wider area.
From Vrachos–Loutsa, you can plan unforgettable day trips to Sivota, the island of Lefkada, as well as the beautiful islands of Paxos and Antipaxos. For the more adventurous, even Corfu feels close enough for a full-day excursion.
